Report: 16-inch MacBook Pro Will Be Powered by Intel’s 9th Gen Processors
It is a well-known secret that Apple is prepping 16-inch MacBook Pro. The latest MacBook Pro is expected to launch in September or October. According to analyst Jeff Kin, the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be powered by Intel’s 9th Gen Cofee Lake processors.
If this is indeed true, then the new MacBook Pro will be powered by 8-core i9 processor clocked at 2.4GHz which supports Turbo Boost frequency of 5.0GHz. Meanwhile, you will also be able to choose the 6-core Core i7 processor. Both the said chipsets come with Intel UHD Graphics 630.
The analyst also claims that 16-inch MacBook Pro will hit the production line in September or October. It is worth noting that Apple has not decided to go for the Intel 10th Gen Ice Lake processor, perhaps it is because the latest Intel processor is yet to offer 6/8-core options.
Thanks to the rumor mills we already know that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will come with scissor mechanism keyboard. As of now, Apple uses butterfly keyboards which are prone to repeated failures and suffer from reliability issues. The upcoming MacBook will feature a 16-inch display that offers a resolution of 3,072×1,920 pixels with a pixel density of 227.
As of now, we are not sure whether or not the 15-inch MacBook Pro will be continued. Logically it doesn’t make much sense to offer two variants with little difference in display sizes. Recent rumors have also hinted at narrow bezels. Apple will not only enhance the look of MacBook Pro by incorporating narrow bezels but it will also help them squeeze a larger display without increasing the overall footprint.Read Next:best slideshow app for android
