How to Fix “Apple Music will not Load” ?


Method 1: Turn the Airplane Mode On and Off

To troubleshoot if network problem is the issue you can turn on the airplane mode on your iPhone and then turn it off again.

To do this go to settings and turn on Airplane Mode. Wait for some time and then toggle it off again.


Method 2: Reset your Network Settings

If enabling and then disabling the airplane mode did not fix the issue, then you can troubleshoot the network issue by resetting your network settings.

To reset your network, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.


Method 3: Force Restart your iDevice

Force restarting your iDevice is known to fix many of the iPhone issues that we encounter during the normal usage of our devices and is even known to fix the problem of Apple Music will not load.

For iPhone 6/7: Press the sleep/wake button and the home button in iPhone 6 and below or the volume down button in iPhone 7 up, all at once. Continue holding them until you see an Apple Logo.

For iPhone 8/x: press and quickly release the volume up button then volume down, next press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Then let go the buttons and wait for the device to restart on its own automatically. Once the device restarts then the music should load appropriately on your Music App.
